  2. Next, they will place their hands and feet on all sides of the wheel (with the help of adhesive) and take a spin around the room!

  • A bowl, bucket, or bag to hold Halloween candy (and your Scout Elf)
  • A cabinet

Instructions:

  1. First, your Scout Elf will print the Halloween scavenger hunt clues.
  2. Next, they will place them around your home for kids to find and follow.
  3. Finally, your elf will place themselves to be found in the final hiding place—in a cabinet with Halloween goodies!

Swinging In, Hanging Out

  • Suction cup with hook

Instructions:

  1. First, your classroom Scout Elf will print, cut, and adhere the printable to window.
  2. Next, the elf will link paper clips together to form a long chain.
  3. Then they’ll attach the suction cup with hook to a window and link the paper clip chain onto the hook.
  4. Finally, they will hang out and appear to swing from the paper clip chain to keep an eye on the whole class!

Magical Candy Portal

Your Scout Elf set up a mystical North Pole portal and out popped an array of sweets! Oh my!


Materials:

  • Color printer
  • Card stock/paper
  • Printable

  • Empty toilet paper roll
  • Tape
  • Candy

Instructions:

  1. Your elf will print and cut out the printable.
  2. They will cut out the circle in the middle of the portal and insert an empty toilet paper roll in the hole.
  3. They will tape the circle back on the toilet paper roll.
  4. They will fill the toilet paper roll with enough candy to pour out of the center of the portal.

Instructions:

  1. Your elf will hide in a present and jump out just in time for you to find them. Pop goes the Scout Elf!

Up, Up and Away

It’s time for your Scout Elf to take off after a wonderful season spent with you! They’ll say, “Toodle-loo” while hanging on to a bunch of balloons.


Materials:

  • Balloons
  • Tape
  • String

Instructions:

  1. Your elf will blow up several balloons and tie them to strings.
  2. They will tape the balloons to the wall, then wrap the strings around one hand to hang from them, so they don’t fly too far away before you can say goodbye!

Frosty Farewell

Your Scout Elf departed with Santa, but not before leaving a frosty farewell display on the window for you to find!


Materials:

  • Printer
  • Card stock/paper
  • Printable
  • Scissors
  • Spray snow

Instructions:

  1. Your elf will print and cut out the printable.
  2. They will use spray snow to spray their outline, so you can see where they departed to follow Santa.

Scout Elf to the Rescue!

Your Scout Elf will be this year’s holiday hero! Sporting their Chief of Cheer Firefighter Set, they’ll rescue an Elf Pets® Mini from the Christmas tree.


Materials:

  • Claus Couture Collection® Chief of Cheer Firefighter Set
  • Straws (at least 4)
  • Wooden craft sticks (at least 13)
  • Glue
  • Christmas tree
  • The Elf on the Shelf® and Elf Pets® Minis

Instructions:

  1. Your elf will put on their Chief of Cheer Firefighter Set.
  2. They will build a ladder using straws and wooden craft sticks.
  3. They will glue two straws together, twice (once for the left and once for the right).
  4. They will glue wooden craft sticks horizontally across the two straws to create ladder rungs.
  5. They will make their ascent on the ladder to rescue an Elf Pets® Mini from the Christmas tree.

Indoor Christmas Camping

Your Scout Elf is ready to snuggle up in their Doodles and Dreams Sleeping Bag and camp out for the night by the Christmas tree!


Materials:

Instructions:
