  1. Scout Elves will print, cut and set out the car bingo boards and chips printables.
  2. Then they will climb into their Scout Elf Carrier ready to keep their eyes peeled for each item on the bingo cards!

Elf Yourself

“You look just like me!” 


Materials:

  • Cardboard or poster board
  • Colorful construction paper
  • Adhesive
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. First, your Scout Elf will find a large piece of cardboard or poster board and cut a child-sized face hole in the middle.
  2. Next, they will cut red and white construction paper in their likeness and adhere it to the board.
  3. Finally, they will set up a photo station for silly Christmas pictures!

Materials:

  • Popsicle/crafting sticks
  • Toothpicks

Instructions:

  1. Your Scout will print and cut the silly smiles (elf-sized and child-sized).
  2. Next, they will adhere the printables to popsicle/crafting sticks for the child-sized smiles and toothpicks for the elf-sized smiles.
  3. Lastly, your elf will lay out the props for you to use in silly photos with them!

Spooky Scout Elf Headbands 

Scout Elves get the party ‘startled’ with ‘eerie’-sistible headgear! (BONUS: Supersize the patterns to create matching Halloween headgear for yourself!) 


Materials:

  • Color printer
  • Construction paper
  • Printable
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Googly eyes
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Optional: Duct tape

Instructions:

  1. Your elf will begin by printing, cutting and laying out each of the templated pieces from the printable.
  2. Next, they will use construction paper in colors of their choosing and the printable templates to cut out each of the pieces used for each headband.
  3. Then they will glue or tape each of the pieces together as shown in the Scout Elf Halloween Headbands image above.
  4. Finally, they will adhere both ends of the headband together and place on their head to kick off All Hallows Eve!

 Happy Hula-days

Who’s ready to hang ten? Have a Happy Hula-days while chilling with your surfer Scout Elf! 


Materials:

  • Color printer
  • Card stock/copy paper
  • Printable
  • Scissors
  • Three styrofoam balls in graduated sizes
  • Toothpicks
  • Play sand
  • Liquid glue
  • Decorations: twigs, pebbles, small top hat, one baby carrot

Instructions:

  1. Your elf will print and prepare the printable surf boards and message.
  2. Next, they will build a sandy snowman! To start, your elf will level the bottom of the largest styrofoam ball so it sits flat on the work surface.
  3. Then they will coat each of the three styrofoam balls with glue and then sand. They’ll use toothpicks between the coated styrofoam balls to balance one on top of the next. Lastly, they will place twigs as arms, pebbles as eyes and mouth, a baby carrot for a nose, and place a small top hat on its head.
  4. Finally, the Scout Elf will chill out with their sand-man before getting ready to hit the waves!

Leon Day is here, and even though it falls outside July, it’s a great way to kick off the sea-sun-al celebrations. Materials:

  • Heart-shaped cookies, baked according to favorite recipe
  • Squeezable icing
  • Colored sugar, sprinkles and/or edible glitter

Instructions:

  1. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, your Scout Elf will bake a batch of heart-shaped sugar cookies.
  2. They’ll decorate the cookies with squeezy icing and colorful sprinkles. They’ll leave some for you to decorate, too!
  3. Then, your Scout Elf will wait for you to join them for a sweet snack!
