See 5 Christmas in July Ideas

‘Tis the sea-sun to be jolly! Did you know Scout Elves celebrate Christmas all year long? They have prepared five Christmas in July ideas that are sure to get you in the spirit even during the warmer months. Second only to the North Pole, Scout Elves enjoy the sunny weather at the beach, cool sweet treats and making a splash in the “pool”!

Leon Day

Everything is topsy-turvy, but not for long because we’re officially halfway to Christmas! Leon Day is here, and even though it falls outside July, it’s a great way to kick off the sea-sun-al celebrations. Leon is “noel” spelled backward, and it marks the halfway point between the first of the year and Christmas Day. Today, wear your clothes backward, recite your ABCs starting with ‘Z’ and sing a Christmas carol starting from the end!

Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Your Scout Elf will print and prepare the Leon Day printable.
  2. Next, they will share in all the silly, backward activities with you. They may even wear their clothes backward!
