Love is in the air, and Scout Elves are ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day with these new Elf Ideas! First, send a special request to Santa asking if your Scout Elf could return for the holiday. Next, watch the magic happen! Scout Elves might bake, decorate, take silly photos, and more. Most importantly, they will enjoy spending time with their favorite valentines. A North Pole Valentine

Scout Elves and Elf Pets® delight in delivering sweet messages from the North Pole.

Materials:

  • Color printer
  • Card stock/paper
  • Printable
  • Decorations (centerpieces, conversation hearts, cutouts, etc.)
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Your Scout Elf will print and cut out the printable.
  2. They will invite your Elf Pets® to help set up and then they’ll wait for their sweetie pie to find them.

Scout Elf Valentine Costumes

Scout Elves like to play dress-up, and these sandwich-board-style costumes will show off their big love for you!

Materials:

  • Color printer
  • Card stock/paper
  • Printable
  • Scissors
  • Decorations (centerpieces, candy sprinkles, easels, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Your Scout Elf will print and cut out the printables.
  2. They will gently shimmy into their sandwich-board-style costume, folding at the shoulders to hold in place.
  3. They’ll decorate and wait for you to find them to say you’ll be their Valentine!

Positive Paper Hearts

Scout Elves know it’s important to tell people how much they matter! What better way than by spelling out all the ways in which they make a heart go pitter patter?

Materials:

  • Printer
  • Card stock/paper
  • Printable
  • Optional: sticky notes
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Pen

Instructions:

  1. Your Scout Elf will print and cut out the printable and several blank heart shapes (or they might use sticky notes).
  2. They will write your positive traits on the blank heart shapes or sticky notes, and then they will arrange the hearts on a wall or flat surface.
  3. They will wait for you to discover all the ways you are wonderful to those who know you!

Valentine’s Cookie Deco Party

Your Scout Elf learned from Mrs. Claus herself how to make the best holiday cookies! Who better than YOU to taste test their delicious edible love letters?

Materials:

  • Heart-shaped cookies, baked according to favorite recipe
  • Squeezable icing
  • Colored sugar, sprinkles and/or edible glitter

Instructions:

  1. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, your Scout Elf will bake a batch of heart-shaped sugar cookies.
  2. They’ll decorate the cookies with squeezy icing and colorful sprinkles. They’ll leave some for you to decorate, too!
  3. Then, your Scout Elf will wait for you to join them for a sweet snack!

Elf Conversation Hearts

What’s on your mind, Valentine? Your Scout Elf will tell you what’s on their mind and in their heart with these clever conversation hearts!

Materials:

  • Color printer
  • Card stock/paper
  • Printable
  • Scissors
  • Bowls filled with conversation hearts

  1. Your Scout Elf will print and cut out the printables.
  2. They will gently shimmy into their sandwich-board-style costume, folding at the shoulders to hold in place.

Scout Elves love a good sELFie. With these photo booth props, your Scout Elf will share their silliest pose ideas so you and your Elf Pets® can have your very own Valentine’s Day photo session!

Materials:

  • Color printer
  • Card stock/paper
  • Printable
  • Scissors
  • Toothpicks and wooden skewers
  • Clear tape

Instructions:

  1. Your Scout Elf will print and cut out the printables.
  2. They will tape toothpicks or skewers to the backs of the printables to make props and signs that you and your Elf Pets® and plush friends can hold up in photographs.
  3. Your Scout Elf will pose, using a few props, but will leave a collection of props and signs for you and your Elf Pets® and plush friends to use as well!
