Snowball Target Practice
Materials:
- Green craft paper
- Red letter stickers
- Cotton balls
- Macrame hoop
- Adhesive dots
- Scissors
- Decorative trim such as eyelash-trim fringe
- White acrylic paint
Instructions:
- From the craft paper, your elf will cut a circle the size of the macrame hoop. They will cut a smaller shape inside the larger circle to make a target hole.
- Next, they will attach the circle to the hoop, using adhesive dots along the edges.
- Then, they will decorate the outside edge of the hoop and the inside edge of the target hole with a decorative trim, adhering it with the dots.
- Next, your Scout Elf will place the letters around the target hole to spell out SNOWBALL PRACTICE on the frontside, and SPLAT! on the backside.
- They will use one of the cotton balls and a small dab of the white acrylic paint to make snowball splats around the target hole, on both the front and back.
- Next, they may decide to hang the target from an object, such as a cabinet, by first looping the decorative trim around the hoop and tying it into a long loop. Hanging the target might make the target spin!
- After this, they will surround themselves with cotton balls and wait for you to find them in action.
- Finally, they will watch as you try your hand at landing the snowballs inside the target hole. It’s not as easy as it looks!
